Demos and Trials

About our Demos and Trials

Demos cannot save and print and are limited to a certain number of components in a circuit.

Trials are fully functional but are limited to 30 days use, after which you will not be able to use it further without purchasing a password from Beige Bag Software.

Note - Trials and Demos cannot be updated using our patches.  Even if you purchase the unlock code for the Trial from us, we recommend that you re-install with the CD version once you receive it from us in order for the patches to work.

45 Day Trial Version for Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000, and XP (45 day trial requires registration)

System Requirements
A Pentium classor later processor is required. 256Mb RAM minimum. Windows 98, 2000, XP or later is recommended.
About the trial version…
After the 45 day limit has expired, the program will also revert to the LITE version. If you decide to purchase the program, you will be sent a license file that will unlock the program. Please note that the Trial version of the database is smaller than the actual (retail) version, with parts randomly removed to keep download size reasonable. If you cannot find a part you are looking for, please consider downloading the full database from our tech support page.
CADSTAR users: for those wishing to try out our integration with CADSTAR, please download and install the trial first and then download the full database and unzip it to the directory where the Trial was installed, overwriting the existing Parts.mdb.

You have 30 days from your first day running the program to use it for free. If you decide to purchase the program, then call or email us and we will give you a code to restore the program after you purchase the program. We will give discounts if you do not require a physical manual and cd-rom.

About the LITE version…
The Lite version is fully functional, meaning that there are no time limits and you can save your circuits.  However, the Lite version has some functional limits.  View the functional limitations.
